Food for Thought - Themes and Ideas
Your Cooking Up a Party event is about food, fun, and learning how to cook great new dishes. You can design your menu based on meals and foods you want to learn how to make (challenged by that 10-layer cinnamon torte?), or based on a common theme (never quite got the hang of all those complicated French sauces?) … or we can design a menu for you based on your likes and dislikes.
What are some examples of Cooking Up a Party themes? The first rule is, there are no rules! Mix and match foods based on favorites for a customized meal. If you want a theme night, popular themes are often aligned with the types of food you want to learn to make and to serve your guests: Chinese, Thai, Northern or Southern Italian, French, etc. Or, maybe a seasonal theme – like a "Fall Harvest" dinner with ingredients that include pumpkin, bratwurst, maple, and apples. What about "breakfast for dinner" or "tapas night?" Cooking Up a Party can accommodate.
